Game Annotation

The Andrew Martin Chess Academy offers a game annotation service which works like this:

  1. The Student creates a game in either .pgn or .cbv file format.
  2. An order is placed for the GA1 (or GA5*) service from the Order Now menu item.
  3. Payment is made for that order (and any other in the basket) using the PayPal secure payment service from the My Orders menu item.
  4. All Members of Teaching Staff will receive an email informing them of the order.
  5. A Staff Member will allocate that game to him or herself.
  6. The Staff Member will annotate the game according to the AMCA standard. This should not take more than a day or two to complete.
  7. The annotated game will be uploaded by the Staff Member and the student will receive a confirmation email message.
  8. The annotated game may now be downloaded by the Student (and carefully studied!).

*We also offer the GA5 product which is simply a five game version of GA1 at a discounted (less 20%) rate.

n.b.

  1. When selecting GA5 please make sure you have included five games in your uploaded file otherwise fewer games will delay the annotaton process.
  2. When using .cbv fomat do not use the crypt option (which sets a password) as this could delay the annotation process.
