Peter is a FIDE Master with a current international rating of 2352.

He is a regular competitor at international tournaments, including the British Championship and the Four Nations Chess League (4NCL).

Many moons ago he was a British Junior Champion and has over 20 grandmaster scalps.

Peter is an experienced trainer and has worked with both junior and adult players, individually and in groups.

With over 30 years experience of tournament play, he can pinpoint areas for improvement and offer a wealth of practical advice. He offers bespoke tuition and is most interested in working with talented and improving players. As he is largely self-taught, he can also offer advice on how to study chess.

Peter is also the webmaster of the Four Nations Chess League (4NCL), England's premier team competition.
