Ken represents North West Eagles in the highly competitive Four Nations Chess League and is Captain of the Crowthorne Club first team.

Ken has competed in the British Championship on more than one occasion and has won the South of England Championship.

Ken is Chairman of the Surrey and Hampshire Border League.
